ferhanoglu Onur Ferhanoğlu

Prof. Ferhanoğlu received his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Bilkent University in 2003 and 2005, respectively. He then joined Koç University as a graduate researcher to develop MEMS thermal imaging sensors. He became a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, where he played a key role in the development of an ultrafast laser microsurgery scalpel in 2011–2014. He is now appointed with the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University. His research interests are biomedical optic and MEMS.

aerten Ahmet Can Erten

Prof. Erten received his BS degree from University of Southern California in 2003, and his MS and PhD degrees from University of California San Diego in 2005, and 2010, respectively. Before joining Istanbul Technical University as an Assistant Professor in 2018, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at NANO3 Cleanroom of UCSD and the opto-fluidics and nano-Optics Laboratory of Koç University. Dr. Erten’s research interests focus on BioMEMS, microfluidics, biosensing and sorting applications.

yeltenm Mustafa Berke Yelten

Prof. Yelten received the B.Sc. degree (High Hons.) in electrical engineering from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2006, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA, in 2008 and 2011, respectively. He was a Quality-Reliability Research Engineer with Intel Corporation, Hillsboro, OR, USA, from 2011 to 2015. Since 2015, he has been with the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department, Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests include the design, optimization, and modeling of nanoscale transistors and the design of analog/RF integrated circuits.

He is currently a Ph.D. student at the Electro-Optical Devices Laboratory of Istanbul Technical University in Electronics Engineering. Ö.G. Akcan received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilgi University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2020 and 2022, respectively. He has been a researcher in Microsystems, Biosensors, and Robotics & Intelligent Motion Control Research Groups in Bilgi University since 2016. Sajjad Habashi

S. Habashi received his B. Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Urmia University, Urmia, Iran then he joined the Micro and Nanoelectromechanical system research group at Urmia University with a full 2-year scholarship as a Master of Science student in MEMS. He is doing a Ph.D. at the Electro-Optical Devices Laboratory (EDL) of Istanbul Technical University in Bio-medical Engineering. His research Interests are Microsystems, the Bio-medical application of MEMS, Microfluidics, and sillicon photonics.

Özlem Koçoğlu

Özlem Koçoğlu received her BSc degree from the Biomedical Engineering at Pamukkale University. She completed her MSc degree in the Biomedical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and is currently continuing her PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
Her master's thesis research involved the development of microfluidic platforms for the 3D in vitro culture of tumor cells. Her research areas include the fabrication of thermoplastic and PDMS-based microfluidic systems and their experimental and optical analysis.

S. Sarbazzadeh Khosroshahi received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Urmia University, Urmia, Iran, in 2017, and his M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2023. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the Electro-Optical Devices Laboratory (EDL) of Istanbul Technical University in Biomedical Engineering. Hamed Asadi

Hamed Asadi received the B.Sc. degree from Azad University of Urmia, Iran, in 2010, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2016. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, where he is a member of the Electro-Optical Devices Laboratory (EDL).
